Ha! I laugh at your My rig signature. Proclaiming you have a Dell as if its mighty is like bragging about a pt cruiser at a car show.
Andrew110
July 18th, 2008, 10:26 PM
Yo man chill out, I was talking about D3S....
And it's what's inside that counts :)
And so what if I have a Dell. Wow you can't overclock them big deal.
I've had two other Dell's that have served me well.

Ya, and I kindly pointed out that theirs someone who will find you a retard. Anyway, I don't see the point of proclaiming your rig if its a dell, its one of a billion. Your sig basically is a way of expressing yourself, interests, etc... Yours just screams conformist.
Andrew110
July 19th, 2008, 06:07 AM
No. It screams that I'm not insecure about what kind of computer I have.
Not to bust your bubble bud, but pretty much every computer is one in a billion. Everything is mass produced. So really the only thing that's different about my computer over someone's custom made build is the case and the mobo...because you can't buy those from anywhere. Oh and the fact that I didn't build it. Whoopty fucking shit.
Who are you to say what I should put in my sig. Stfu. And like your signature is any better...

Andrew does not like me making fun of his Dell. Or the fact that he is either being conformist with his sig or bragging about his lame Dell that required no prior thought, incite or skill to build. The only reason I attacked him is because he made a piss poor post insulting a guy, rather than insulting the question he brought up. There no reason to be an asshole to retards.

July 19th, 2008, 11:01 AM
Here we go on the Dell and conformist deal again... I don't need to make myself feel special by building a computer. At the time of buying, I didn't have the time to build one. Looking at prices of OEM computers, I realized I wouldn't have to spend much more to get one that I know would work when I got it (and would be under warranty) and one having the same hardware which I would have purchased.
How is that being conformist? Why does it matter what brand it is? It's not like OEM's make the internal hardware anyway.
ANYWAYS....I don't have anything against the mentally retarded. I simply found his topic and post amusing and well, dumb.

The thing is, MOST people have more computer than they need. IF youre not into high end graphics a cheap PC will be all you will ever need. How much of a PC does one need to watch youtube and download files? I found myself wanting to build another computer because mine is a few years old now but then I realize IM the one who is being tricked. Buying a new rig when the old one is still perfectly fine is crazy. Like a person who has to have a new car every year when the old one gets them to work just as fast. BLUH!
My main concern with a PC off the shelf is that it comes with too much! Hard drive too big and slow, too many DVD/CD drives, speakers and monitor you don't want, ect.

Personally, I don't think anything's wrong with Adrew's specs. Nothing to openly boast about, but that Dell is perfectly suited for graphic design or gaming.

Andrews machine is a decent machine, a little better then mine in most specs, its just not something I would be proud to proclaim as it required no skill to acquire. To be honest, for most people, a prebuilt system is the way to go. My point was just to call him out on insulting a guy for saying something foolish, when I would say his sig is foolish. Theres always someone who will find what someone says stupid, that doesn't make them a retard, sometimes just il informed. Due to that fact I say don't judge the person but the issue as anyone has the ability to learn, change and adapt.

Its strange to think that I've gained enough knowledge to be considered a geek. There was a time I was just a lowly dork. I look forward to being a nerd some day, but that is a ways away.
Can you still be a geek if you have a plethora of sports awards?

Since this is the nuts thread, Helena mentioned I should kick Feather in the nuts.
This would be due to her mouse not working in which she feels she/we have offended some great spirit.
Seeing as how Feather is in cahoots with a suspicious spirit, I have been drafted as official nut-kicker until the curse is lifted.
We know this site would fold without her input, so resolving this issue is tantamount.
Thanks in advance!!
