I dont know how they think they will be getting hits if the thread they started completely disappeared. The view counter may be high on this thread, but the only way any bot is going to read it is if the original post was placed in here. none of the spam ive moved into here originated here.

I just wanted to make something clear about my process of modding, and how it may affect this thread and winners.

When I come onto ZP each visit, I hit the "new posts" button on the home page. from there, I open a new tab for every thread. If i feel like commenting, or moderating, it all goes in sequence. Vary rarely do i not comment in this thread. So if I come across a spam thread after this one, and then move it to this thread, i might become a winner. this isnt intentional. however, if the spam is old enough, merging it will place it in the proper place for its time-stamp, not making me the winner. what you guys need to do is make sure that spam threads have a newer post made on them than this thread, so im never going to be the winner.
I really disagree with the whole "moving shit around for the purpose of a game" concept.

I suppose that is *possible* but i dont know if the forum software is programed that way. seems like a bad design idea if it does. something to ask the admins i guess. i need to remember to ban them after i move them. then we can be sure.

personally, im not all for it. I like how this thread has gained so many posts, and has stayed in a conversation 90% of the time. I was expecting a ton of ASDF posts. we've only had a few of those.

On the other hand, that does sound like fun too. One BIG problem is the other mods dont really like this playing with spam games, and if we all start posting in spam threads, it might start turning out baddly. especially if im not the one to move the thread, but some one else deletes the spam. then we can get into all sorts of awesome arguments about who posted first 'n' shit.
