The department head back in '03 was a complete ass. I took his "hybrid online" course over the summer for Advanced Photoshop III. The guy introduces himself on the first day, leaves us a vague syllabus, then splits to Africa with no internet connection or phone for some church mission. Ofcourse, no one knew that until he came back at the end of the semester, wondering why there were so many questions posted on the class forum. Lab time was useless... the only staff was a very bored student sitting behind the counter, making sure no one was logged into ZeroPaid. :icon_salu So, I just bought a couple of extra books and taught myself a few new tricks at home.

He got a mouthful from us in the end when he showed up on the last day for our final presentations, incuding the English dept head who was also taking the course.

Swear to gawd, I needed counseling for a year after that beast. Sad thing is, I have to take her once more. I pray she retires or gets hit by a bus before I have to take that class with her. Hers WILL be the last class I take.

That's crazy. One of my political science teachers was a sadistic mofo. Then there was the sociopath trapped in the 80's passing himself off as an avant garde art instructor. If he "liked" a student, then they got an invitation to his loft for an intimate and private viewing of his award winning masterpieces. F*ck I hate abstract art. Dip a poodle in paint, slam it against a canvass and call it "I'm still angry at my dad". Some moron will pay a few hundred bucks for it.

As for hybrid courses, I've had a few outstanding online instructors that were very responsive online and offered lab instruction for those wanting or needing it. Some of these "teachers" just assign chapters out of an Adobe book and couldn't care less. The sad part is, these jerk-off's infect accredited universities. You'd expect that kind of behavior from some bullsh*t fly-by-night trade school. You know, the ones that offer a "degree" in "just 8 months" in Network Administration, Graphic Design and my favorite... Hair & Nails.

Up to now,the front-end embedded software have been tested in many STB hardware platforms, such as: TI / INTEL / NXP / RMI, etc. It run very well in these platforms.

The backend system of P2P-STB is a management system with public content access and analysis system, which includes a search engine system for the public P2P networks, a real-time health checking system for the public P2P network links, a public P2P network transmission optimization system, a media formats Intelligent identification system and a user self-service portal system.

The public P2P network search engine will build a public content links database, based on this link database, real-time health checking system will real-time scan these links and choose some "good" connected links. For speeding up content downloading, it should optimize these "good" links. Optimization of the public P2P networks, including two aspects, using technology (such as P4P technology etc.) to optimize the network topology is one aspect, and the other should establish cache content super nodes for these "good" connected links. The next step, media formats Intelligent identification system will filter out formats suitable for specific STB devices from links database. Users can use self-service portal system to manage STB, or customize their personalized channel menus.

Vatata launched this conceptualization P2P-STB solution, based entirely on the existing Internet and television, it can use public P2P networks' resources, can also establish a closed, security content network by vatata's p2p protocol, it completely depends on the manufacturer's business choice.

I dont know how they think they will be getting hits if the thread they started completely disappeared. The view counter may be high on this thread, but the only way any bot is going to read it is if the original post was placed in here. none of the spam ive moved into here originated here.

I just wanted to make something clear about my process of modding, and how it may affect this thread and winners.

When I come onto ZP each visit, I hit the "new posts" button on the home page. from there, I open a new tab for every thread. If i feel like commenting, or moderating, it all goes in sequence. Vary rarely do i not comment in this thread. So if I come across a spam thread after this one, and then move it to this thread, i might become a winner. this isnt intentional. however, if the spam is old enough, merging it will place it in the proper place for its time-stamp, not making me the winner. what you guys need to do is make sure that spam threads have a newer post made on them than this thread, so im never going to be the winner.
