Says is waiting for the record industry to reemerge and for everybody to "settle down" and become "civilized" before it'll ever record new material.
Today I have a report for the "who gives a f channel," for it concerns over-the-hill rockers, whose rocking has long been done from a seated position, and their refusal to record new music.
Kiss, led by frontman Gene Simmons, has recently been quoted bashing Radiohead and its donation-based album sales experiment. It's not the first time, so it's not really worth discussing anew, but what is is Gene's statement that they will not "record new material" until the music industry gets its act together and "..

They went pop so fast my head spun till I was 21...

If you ever watched his "Reality" tv show you would quickly realize that all Gene Simmons ever cared about was the money. His whole life is about how to live luxuriously, make more money and spend little money. Even his kids seem to think he is a tight ass fuck nut. All I can say is thank your Gene, with fewer people like you in the industry we are bound to get back to the music.

It's funny... these guys could be 60 years old but they dress up in those costumes and they look the same as they did in the 80's. I never thought much of their music.

Kiss was always about making big money, Simmons was the leader of that tack, but far from alone.
Thats not to say they didn't rock, they were just purely commercial from go (like Linkin Park).
Yeah, so, they just can't figure out how to wrangle any money out of today's market.
No big loss, tired old men still trying to rock out is pretty well played out as it is.

I like kiss but they arent hurting anyone but themselves, filesharing isnt going away because they want it too, and we arent going to bow to the big record companies for anyone.
