well mels, i'd start with either GTA3 or Vice city. i never played San Andreas, but what i saw of it, it looked like they changed the gameplay from fun-'n'-run-'n'-gun to "well, GTA is known for being offensive, so lets make this as offensive as possible!"

I dont think that is horrible in itself, but it was the first game i heard "fuck" in, and oh in the short time that i watched it, did i ever hear it! Fuck this, Fuck that, fuckity fuckfuck. they werent just swearing for the sake of making things more immersive and "real" they were swearing to be offensive. ive played too many games over the years to know that the F-word is not needed to make a game good. ive seen it used in a lot of games now, and the only one that i felt made it better was bioshock, even then i shouldnt say it was "better," just not inappropriate. bioshock still would have been everything the game it was without the use of the F-word. I guess I feel that swearing in video games should be left mostly to the player. It just feels SO FUCKING RETARDED playing rainbow six vegas, and every time you blast a terrorist, you hear him or one of his near by teammates scream "FUCK!" or "SHIT!" So great, you blast 20 or so of these guys, and then one gets you in the back. What the hell are YOU supposed to say? the NPCs took all your lines from you! you cant swear in good conscious because you sound like a fucking parrot. This of course makes me even madder at losing, because i cant blow off the steam the way i normally do when i lose. </rant>

so yeah, VC is prolly the best because its still "serious" while not being "lets milk this M rating for all its worth!"

Yea, lets pay for it from an unknown site, not like its going to end up on countless free torrent sites, p2p apps, and newsgroups once it is actually ported, and it will be.

If this game came out on the PC, it would be swell. :p R* even announced its not going to happen however. Very fun multiplayer online methinks. :icon_rr:
