I'm new to Wii games download area. I heard that you need a special dvd burner for wii to read your back up copy. Can anyone confirm that?

I dont think you need a special dvd burner

but you might need a modchip to put in the wii so it can read them
dont know though

yes modchip needed to play burnt games on the Wii also on xbox, only need softmod to play burnt games on the xbox 360
