no because alls u could do is just shake it... u couldn't really be able to tell how much true ink is left, cause my friend on his old computer windows 98 he did have something that would show a small pic of a printer cartdridge and he'd be able to see how much ink he used ect. but i don't know if u guys know of any, cause my friend can't remember it

:wings Most printers that I have used have a program that will tell you how much ink is left. Check the manual that came with it, if that is no help, check out their web site.

I had an old Lexmark 1100. It showed a rough estimate. A very rough estimate.

LMFAO....no shit....I use to (packed up now) have a Lexmark something...one of the cheap cheap 100 buck ones plus the rebait...which back in the day was dirt cheap...

Anyway the ink program read it as having nothing left yet I was able to print HQ ink intensive photos on photopaper for like 9 months after that...the cart still has ink left....kinda freaky since I used it a-freakin-lot. Maybe god blessed my ink cart with some magic power....hahahah......it never runs dry! LMFAO

Power: It should be with your HP just check the printer properties.....it should have meters for it....

Tata/later...and soooo on.....
