Over all, I'd say that staff here is already about the best crew you're gonna get.
With only the one notable exception of a mod allowing emotion to guide their judgement, I doubt you are going to find a more even keeled crew anywhere.

There are 6 maybe 7 people on this whole board that I respect, half of those don't come around anymore and the others know who they are through my interactions with them.

No reflection needed as I stand by that statement, The paid mod was told that the forum was full of nothing but drama and and that spending time here is not a prerequisite for their position by the owners.

If it has been suggested to you by others that you are ruled by your emotions, then logically, a mod position is not right for you.
If in fact you have so little respect for the community you represent, then again, a mod position is not right for you.

Since you stand by your statement that all of us (excluding, I assume the 6 or 7 you do respect) are endlessly whining goddamn children who act like spoiled motherfucking babies, it would stand to reason that in actuality you don't even belong here as a member, let alone as a mod.

Your contribution to the ongoing drama is behavior very unbecoming of a mod, or an adult for that matter.
The cavalier attitude that you present is very unprofessional, and the arrogant temper tantrums you display are downright juvenile.

ZP mods are not elected by a college of cardinals nor expected to be infallible.

Nothing amazingly inappropriate has been done or said by any mod that would warrant an "I'm bored" witch hunt.

All of this foolishness over nothing when there are real problems in the world. Take the girl in the pic. She can't even afford furniture for her meager home yet she carries on.

I visit daily. Being invisible may not make that notable to non-staff, but I tend to post at least once when I'm here. Another even-keeled staff member can vouch for me.

I will surmise that carpefile is including me in this crew. Therefore, I will make a judgement call. Whether it was the creator's intent or within his knowledge that this thread was asking for trouble, it matters not. This thread has already dissipated into a testicle tennis match and at least one of the nominees in the poll, to me, has to be a joke. Even if they were not, there are others that are as deserving, if not more.

But we're not going to modify the poll, because at this immediate moment, we don't need any extra mods. If we did, we would confer behind our special bullet-proof, one-way mirrors and decide on some candidates. There was no poll when I was granted this position and I don't seem to be doing too shitty on this board.

So with that, I will close this. This is done purely on the info provided within this thread and without notification to other mods. If we (they) truly feel it should be re-opened, it will.

No one likes to see their family fight, even if they're used to it.
