I'm at the stage now where I think XS is pretty much ready for a larger hoard of people to test it...

I've just released a version of XS (r996pr2) that can handle a bit of a hammering and has a few fixes that have cured the only common critical bug in XS, the rest are pretty trivial.

When XS hits beta (next 2 weeks at most)... any chance of a space on ZP, etc.. as mentioned in the developers forum?

I know seph will hate it coz it's in VB but there's nothing stopping me porting it to c++ at a later date in the not too distant future if people think it's worth it and needs it!! ;)

C'ya!!

I dont see why it wouldnt have space here... especially given that there areforums for programs that are far past obsolete....

and the language its coded in should have zero to do with anything.... if your coding is quality Id use it if you wrote it in qbasic. I remember reading some of seph's posts in the dc forums and I understand his dislike for VB(!!!!), but I do not believe that he (or anyone else here for that matter) would try and keep your program down because of what you coded it in....

I mean, its gonna be better than dc right? from what I hear it is already very stable.... after I build my new machine and have a good deal more space you will definetely see me there method.... whether its hosted here or not.

edit: lmao. yes man... dont ask me what I was thinking... its those damn two letter abbreviations, I swear!

LOL Gorphon, did you mean to say Sephiroth disliked VB?

Method, pm Jorge and ask if you can be included.

i have been w/ xs basicly throught the beginning..might off missed like 2 releases but...i like it - i hope it does real well.
i dont know the benifits of the different codding languages, but if every1 thinks it should be ported then i guess i should :S..either way i'll still be using the xs client weather its in vb c++ java or what ever lol
