Ok people. I just successfully signed up at time of post. Now, let me say that it was not easy and took a little time. If you follow these instructions PERFECTLY then you will have the same luck. And I do wish you the best of it....

Here we go.

Blackcats-Games.net is the best dedicated games torrent tracker out there. It tracks several thousand windows and console games. Obviously, it is not easy to get into and the tracker had signups closed for a long time and later the admins decided to close the invite based signups too. Now here is the good news; although you may not notice it, the Blackcats-Games is accepting new signups. You just have to be there at the right time. That is easier said than done though.

The tracker opens signups for very brief periods of time (Seconds actually). At other times it will display the following message:

"Max users have been reached for the current time period. Have some cocoa, watch the sun rise (or set), and come back. Nature is beautiful. You might get lucky."

Even if you miraculously get the signup form on first try, you will have less than 9 seconds to fill the form; if you are late, you will be treated with a similar message. Now you may think it is impossible to signup. It is not; at least with a few nice addons for Firefox it isn't.

1. Download Check4Change FireFox extension from here (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3028). For more information on this addon visit here (http://check4change.mozdev.org/). Check4Change (aka C4C) is a simple extension that allows you to periodically check a web-page for updates.

2. Download AutoFormer FireFox extension from here (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1958). For more information on this addon visit here (http://autoformer.mozdev.org/). AutoFormer loads saved data in forms.

3. Visit http://www.blackcats-games.net/ and click on the Register link. (Directly accessing signup page would not work.)

4. You will be taken to the page with 'max user limit reached' message. Now select the message text or message heading ("Signup failed!"), right click --->Check4Change-->Custom. Enter 3 seconds in the "Refresh and check every.." field under "Check Interval". Also tick "Dont refresh while viewing page" button.

5. Check4Change will now refresh the page every 3 seconds to detect any changes. Within 15 mins it will detect the signup form being loaded and notify you. Now take your time and fill each and every field (Except the captcha) carefully. Double check everything and make sure you tick everything. Note on Email - Blackcats will not accept popular free email addresses. If you have an ISP provided address, use it. If you don't, gawab.com (http://www.gawab.com/) mail seems to work fine.

6. Before you click submit, Go to FireFox Edit menu-->Autoformer--> click "save all fields". Now press submit. You will be greeted with "Max user limit reached' message again. Do not worry this is normal.

7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 once more and wait till Check4Change to detect a change. This time be on high alert. The moment it detects the signup form being loaded, switch to the tab immediately. Autoformer will automatically load the values previously entered. This saves you valuable seconds. Quickly fill the captcha (no spaces when filling two words) and hit submit. You should get confirmation email within 30 minutes. If you still get "Max user limit reached' , that means you were too late. Repeat steps 3,4 and 7.

Now that was more fun than playing Crysis, wasn't it?

in all honesty, im a member of BC and i find the site fucking awesome. that said, ive been trying to download from it less and less. there arent enough members there to properly re-seed stuff. i go for the 2.0 ratio, and it sometimes takes months for enough people to download something after you have. at least 90% of the time i can find a similar torrent on mininova or PB and be able to get that goal of 2.0 within days.

im not calling anyone a retard. but if the admins say that the site is closed, and you are able to sign up, then something isnt as it seems. given that the methood described above has you spam the server until it gives you a certain page, and then you download a form-filler-outer that will allow you to complete that form in better than human timing says to me that you arent doing what the admins want for their site. the whole thing stinks like a glitch, and if they admins are truly allowing it, its prolly because they want to allow occasional new blood in, without opening the floodgates.

It's not a glitch one of the site administrators confirmed the site is open at random small intervals in another forum.

Yup, no glitch here. Stoi (BCG admin) has opened up signups for BCG. The signup page will display apprx. every 10-25 minutes but only for X signups (no, we don't know what number X is). Once X is filled, you get another silly message instead of the signup form. Anyone who gets the signup form, its first come first served for the open slots, so be quick! This is why people are trying to automate, first to get the signup page to show, and the auto filler fills out all the fields for you and you only have to re-enter the captcha, which saves valuable time.

I had no luck manually, but using the method described in this thread got me an account in 30 minutes after starting it. Read and follow the instructions listed here and you'll sign up with no trouble.

Okay, I finally got through!!!! But when I check my e-mail, there's no confirmation mail. (sad face)
I thought that maybe if I tried a password recovery it would work.
Good news is that I was sent a new password right away. Bad news is that without the confirmation, I still can't get in.
Irc channel is private so I signed up here in the hopes that someone could help me.

Thanks for looking, I went to the irc and since it's private it kicked me to a public blackcats irc room. I hit /list and it showed me a help room. The fine people there fixed things for me.

If only I knew this 6 months ago, took me 4 days to time it just right.

I found out that they prune old accounts at the end of every 10 minutes, like at :09, :19, :29 and so on. I just had to time it right and click it right as it turned to the 9's then fill out super fast. A lot of highly populated private sites do this, so along with this method you should be able get an account on even the hardest sites.

This kind of reminds me of the ebay snipe program, so this should be dubbed private tracker snipe.

Had the same w/ Firefox. Tweaked something with referrers in my about:config and it worked again.

My network.http.sendRefererHeader was set to 0 instead of 2.

Aol works fine. (get AIM and sign up an account through there, it's free. Gmail seems to work too.

The forums went down for several days, due to a server move. After about three or four days, the site went down altogether. Not sure when it will come back up, but the server moves are probably the explanation.

Then use it on Blackcats.
