View Full Version : Private trackers

Lately most private trackers have stepped up their security to a point that is meant to discourage new members.
The primary reason for this is the attention of several agencies with nefarious purposes in mind, swinging their gaze's towards more and more private trackers and away from Public trackers.

Most of these agencies realize that, like a water river, the source of the problem is not on the public side, but the private. Stem the source, choke the river .With rumors of more and more people, affiliated with a host of government agencies, doing their best to obtain access to the private trackers it has fallen onto the members of private trackers as well as sites where people discuss the trackers, to offer a bit of discretion in light of the changing events.

I hope we are able to accommodate this change by LIMITING the data put forth when speaking about a private tracker.

While, As I have said so many times I know I sound like a broken record, invite trading is not something I endorse, It is something that is allowed by the owners of realpoor.com and is something that needs to be addressed.

In the future, attempt to utilize more discretion when trying to do trades. While i understand this may be difficult as saying the name draws attention as well as spelling out the initials, we must strive to offer a level of security to these sites that so many people wish to gain access too.

A LENGTHY process to do this would be to say something similar to

" Trading level 6 music tracker w/ 50 gig buffer for a level 7 Danish movie/app/music tracker"

Most of us know what the 2 trackers mentioned are, while it is also so generalized no google search would be able to uncover it in a standard search

Just an idea guys.
My goal is to help these sites avoid potential legal issues as well a helping them maintain the level of anonymity and excellence that makes us all want to be apart of them.

Always remember, sitting in an IRC room, chattering and being friendly as well as helpful is usually the BEST way to get invited to a tracker and a HELL of a lot more safer

#1 Trades are not allowed here.

Although one could appreciate what you're trying to accomplish, there will never be any such thing.

Like sex, the only 'safe' way is abstinence

The alarm on your car is only a deterent and so too are the securities you make reference to. If they want it, they are gonna get it. THE END

So... keeping your private info safe from MAFIAA is a lot like having sex with Kobe Bryant. You can kick and scream all you want but.. um.. they're gonna get it..

I think you'll find that the homosexual community is generally more promiscuous than the straight.
