Well, its hard... As there are normally so many seeds, and little leecher, you get v/ low upload speed, so it takes for ever to seed. Any tips to get high ratios?

Use the search function and it will yield many an answer.

The expression "Rob Peter to pay Paul" comes to mind. Try to grab a freeleech from one and seed to another......keeping in mind you must still follow the rules on the freeleach site(usually 1:1 or 4 days)

Don't be so quick to D/L from a new site(new to you)......try 'seeding only' till you have a nice cushion

Protip: 50GB "Packs" with dozens of separate titles and hundreds of leechers probably yield about 3 actual leechers.

How do you seed only? Surely you have to D/L to U/L?

Thanks,

reread what you quoted and you should understand.
Yes, you are D/L but from site A (also U/L aleast 1:1) then U/L that same file(s) to site B (new site)

if the same release is on both sites, theres nothing to be 'caught' for. Trackers just dont want their torrent files uploaded to other places, and they also do not want their exclusive 'packs' uploaded to other sites. Unless you are an uploader, you do not have to worry about this. If the same release is on both sites, you can dl it from site A and then dl the torrent from site B and point it to your existing data from site A.

Don't they have to be the same size and something about checking the "skip hash check?" I've never done it, but once asked someone to be very detailed in explaining it.

It just has to be the same release: obviously if one site has it rar'd and the other site has it un-rar'd, you will not be able to do this (bitmetv for example offers all its releases un-rar'd). The only 2 files I've ever had issues re-seeding were the .NFO and the .SFV (SVF?) files. These can be different from site to site even if they are the same release. The reason is that some sites put their own information into the NFO, such as the tracker name, this makes the files different. I usually just uncheck these 2 files when adding the 2nd trackers torrent file, and leave the core files checked (all the rar's). I let it hash check, and have never had an issue seeding this way. I even leave the first download seeding sometimes and they never conflict.

Hope this helps.

If you were able to get on czone recently you will see just how difficult it can be. The fastest down speed I have every gotten I got at czone ... but it takes weeks to seed to an acceptable ratio. You have to be very careful about what you pull down ..

I wonder if the fact that most of the leachers are non-US has anything to do with it... you will see 30 Romanian leach connections and your up speed is dismal... maybe it's a bandwidth thing...
