Help with getting good upload speeds

Hi, I've been using torrents for years now and have never had the problem I am having now. I'm downloading stuff from bithdtv and seem to get good DL speeds but when I try and upload now, it's just like it doesnt work for some reason. It used to work about 1-2 weeks ago and I would get pretty good speeds but now I only connect to 1-4 peers (out of ~50) and get 0 upload speed. I can't open my ports because I use apartment internet, but regardless, I've still gotten upload speeds in the 30kb/s area several months ago using the same internet.

I run kaspersky firewall, and I even tried turning it off to see if my upload speed would go up but it hasn't. What happened? Can anyone help me?

try using different clients, just make sure they are allowed on the trackers u use, had problems with azerus, used it for long time, tryed something else, and no problem
