Help I'm an idiot!!!

Hi everybody, not sure if I have started this thread in the right place, but here goes:

So I am completely retarded! I got paranoid about having my yahoo mail hacked when it happened to a friend on gmail. so I changed my password and guess what!!!! I forgot the new password. I can't recover it because I gave false details about DOB and location and I can't remember what those are, so basically I am locked out of my mail with no way to recover it!!!

I know! serious noob dilemma. So does anybody have an idea as to what the hell I can do. Is ther any way to find it by decoding the gobbledigook in my cookies files or ANYTHING that anyone can do? I just know it has to be stored somewhere on my pc, maybe encrypted or something!

Please help, my life depends on it!!!!

Are you trying to get your password back or your recovery questions back by "decoding the qwerty"

Well I'm trying to get my password and there is no recovery question, it just asks for zip code and DOB. I know I put in fakes for anonymity's sake.... Like i changed my zipcode number order, and said I live in bali or some shit...

I am convinced it must be stored on my pc somewhere, but all the cookie files and similar that I can found are mumbo jumbo, no text, so is there a way to decrypt? Yahoo stopped allowing firefox password manager to remember passwords last year some time so my firefox passwords don't have it.

I'm in big shit if I don't get that password, it's not just a matter of opening a new account....

Honestly, what you're asking is how to hack an account. No one knows if it's yours or the guy who stole your girlfriend. If you want to learn to hack email accounts try google.

My advice is to forget it. Go start a new account. Get over it!

Well, I called Yahoo security customer service and they have reset the password for me.

If anyone ever has the same problem a few tips:

Make sure you provide true information about your DOB and zip.
It really is the only way to get your password reset
Phone the customer service of the mail provider and be polite understanding where they are coming from.
DON'T FORGET YOUR FUCKING PASSWORD!!!!!
