Yeah, I know, wanting to pay for content makes me a bit of a mutant on this site, but I have done the file share thing and I am tired of it. I don't think I ever downloaded a movie that played all the way through without a problem. When you are curled up on the couch with a girl watching a vid and the sound is out of synch with the lips or the vid crashes at the most exciting part, she is not thinking "what a cool guy that he gets his flix for free on P2P".

So yeah, I would LOVE to pay to watch flix.

:icon_pale I just don't want to have to drive all the way to Blockbuster to rent them.

:icon_pale I also do not want to have to decide last Thursday what vid I am going to watch tonight so I can use one of those DVD mail services.

:icon_pale My cable company could give me video on demand. For $50 a month! That would work out to $16 per movie! There are months I do not watch any movies.

:icon_pale The sites I have found only have stupid low-budget crap. I don't need the latest releases, but within the past 5 years might be nice.

:icon_pale Oh, and I am in Canada and MovieLink will not work if your IP is outside of the US

I just want to pay someone 5 to 7 bucks and stream or download a movie with good quality and low hassle.

Anyone know any good sites for this?

Not right offhand, but I know they are out there. Perhaps try the search function at the top right of your computer screen.

Here's a pretty good free site. http://quicksilverscreen.com/

I am not sure about netflix, but it's worth having a look at.

TY...The weather here is almost nice enough to ride.

The temps here just dipped the last few days but are suppose to warm up. Bike week just started but I am not sure if I am going to go this year. Putting bike in the shop soon to get carbs cleaned and turn up and oil change. Maybe I will be ready for biketoberfest.

BACK ON TOPIC
Will you guys quit responding to these bots or paid posters. tomorrow there will be at least one or 2 ad posts for just such a site.

I wish I lived as close as you to Daytona. I would go every year.

I am not sure if this guy was sincere or not, but I saw no harm in giving the benefit of the doubt. Zeropaid, yes, but if the dude wants to pay, what's the big deal, if he is in fact sincere? If not...my apologies for trying to be helpful. I hate spam too.

No apologies needed my friend. I just get a little irritated with this crap. It is starting to get way out of hand.

Netflix is good. So what if you have to decide what you want to watch a day or two ahead of time? You can end up getting so many movies per month that in the end it won't even matter.

Apple just recently started their own movie rentals in iTunes, you could check that out too.

if you find some good pay sites be sure to come back here and trade their invites.

Thanks for the input. I found exactly what I was looking for, though I won't say where or poor little krell might cry.

No, I am not a bot. I am a dude who wants to watch a movie once in a while. I am not making any value judgement on downloading. I am all for it for music because the files I get are completely playable. The movies, however, suck. That is not a moral statement. It is not a legal statement. It is just my experience. If you are managing to download flix that have a decent picture and don't wander out of synch and don't crash, enjoy, but I have had no luck and for me, downlaoding is more about convenience than about getting something for free.

Thanks for all the tips. I appreciate them.

Cheers,

Sickman

Oh, and krelly, Not a problem, I got the info I needed and I am outta here. However, if you would be kind enough to flame me once more, I will be more than happy to do my best to push your buttons big time. I know it is cruel, but I get a perverse pleasure in trying to find the auto-destruct sequence for people too full of their own self-importance. Hey, everyone needs a hobby and thats mine.
