I made a variant of the zeropaid gear graphic; i think it's sort of neat. This isn't really helpful I guess, but if someone here on the site would like to utilize it, here it is to use freely:

maybe it could be on the gear page hmm?

:mellow Sometimes we have been known to shoot people down in flames on their first post. Give people a chance, I bet most here have had foot in mouth disease a few times. Sometimes I just take my foot out of my mouth to change feet.
Note to self (wash feet more often) Later.

Ive seen a number of time posts here recently, people trying to fit in, bring something, anything, to make a contribution. So many times they get shot right down.

I remember Ah! Leahs first post. I saw a guy the other day, who read about the difference between bits and bytes, so he posted stating that he has learned something, BOOM shot down.

I am damn proud of the talent we have here. Most of us cant taught advanced degrees, or at least have the good measure not to sport it.

Please understand, that I am not being critical of ANYONE in this post, just pleading for some leniency for our younger, newer members.

cheers, and happy holidays.

strange, reminds me of my first comments here, trying so hard to fit in and contribute ultimately to get yelled at for posting too much :)

I get that feeling all of the time when i read posts lately. I still don't know what category I fit in with 100+ posts.....

I know for a fact that I have learned many, many interesting (sometimes scary) things from my fellow ZeroPaid members.

Glad to see we are all being cool. I for one apreciate it and, Welcome melek.

Post away!

I know my patience had just about left me for some time and I myself needed to cool out, I slowed my posting for a bit to get back in tune. I think next time I feel bitter I shall just not post till I can be my old mellow self.

Peace!

:mellow Ricko, its good to see the old you back, 1234567890, you are getting a lot better, a big tumbs up. Just so you know, the reason my latest posts have been out of context for me was to try to draw a bit of gunfire my way, and away from the fighting.
PS I still like boobs though. Keep on keeping on.

i hope i wasnt too obnoxious.... i dont want to drive anyone away. melek, dont let my rare crabbyness (maybe its not so rare?) keep you from becoming a prominant member here. the only reason i even said anything, is because i will often spend hours making graphics, and i guess the more simple stuff (again, im not trying to be a prick) doesnt impress me. but anyways, plz dont abandon us because of my comment about your picture.

No offense taken Wonderboy - You're right, it didn't take more than a few adjustments to create the picture, and I did consider that before posting it. I do admit that I think it looks cool, regardless of the amount of time it took ;)
Thank you for an honest response, i don't think you're a prick at all; the honesty is more important than silently thinking im a dork who downloaded photoshop trying to be cool or "l337".

I feel the purpose that these forums and this site facilitate is essential to the health filesharing, and I plan on being (at very least) a constructive voice in these forums and on this site, and yes I admit that the post was to test the climate of the forums to see if I could participate.

I know how communities like this grow together and can become somewhat stigmatic for outsiders, sometimes even totally unaccessible. Thank you all for welcoming me with open minds and friendliness - it's rare to see cool people on the internet anymore :)
