I know this may be a DUMB question but when you are in the setting window of "FairUse" DVD/AVI encoder what number do I put in the output file size to get exactly a 700MB AVI file.

I've been putting "700" in and the file comes out "698MB" I want "700MB" files exactly. Anyone know?

There are variables so it won't be precise, it is more important you get good bitrate than file size. I don't use Fairuse, when encoding DVDs I usually just create one large file using TMPGEnc XPress then use VirtualDub to split the file into sizes for the disks I use! This way I can also choose to have 2 channels audio to save space or 5.1 audio channels for a good action movie. Personally, I don't like all-in-one encoder because I don't have enough control over how I like my movies! It's not fast & easy, so it's not for everyone.
