Well, I have a modded Xbox 360.
I have a real copy of COD4 which i play online.
But is it safe to play burnt games?

Of course it is not safe to play online with burnt games. Nobody knows offically how microsoft decides if a console should be banned. There are alot of theories but none complete proven. Best thing to do is keep your firmware up to date and know for sure the game you download is a legit copy.

yeah I guess. Well, playing real copies hasn't giving me any problems. Even though I read like loads of stuff saying the everyone who goes on Live is scanned to see if their Xbox has been modified.
