OK, I haven't seen this but have heard great things. Any mini reviews from the fine folks at zp?

P.S. The "About This Video" description made me giggle a little.

Release?

Dunno 'bout that. This one looks good enough to dump 8 bucks on admission, and 5 bucks on some shitty nachos.

That's entertainment!

Can't forget about the 5 buck popcorn either! Or the $3 bag of Skittles.

this is a good movie to see in the theatre. it's loud and the sound editing is fantastic. the bullet blasts made my hair stand on end.

I saw this at our local MJR multiplex, the bigscreen and sound was worth it. Dunno if this is chainwide but they give free refills on pop and popcorn. This particular one even gave us some small bags and cups when I asked and we divvied and refilled right there at the counter.

Almost made up for having to watch the commercials before the film.

I caught one of the screeners that was released and was really impressed. I really enjoyed this movie. That Sugar guy is freaking evil.

You have to see this in theatres. It really does add to the experience of seeing this movie, and the film is simply exceptional. I loved every moment of it. NOthing like a slience shot gun.

I'll cast my opinion in an honest light. Yes, it had great characters and memorable dialog but that's the end of my appreciation.

I think it panned out like a big bag of shit. Don't patronize me with the pretentious suggestion that I just don't get the Coen Brothers. That ending sucked a thousand miles of cock. Give me closure in your movie or warn me ahead of time so I don't waste two hours of my life that could have been spent reading or looking for porn.

I think its over hyped myself and Im a HUGE Coen fan, HUGE!

Good movie but come on, DAMN! You know what I mean if youve seen it. It goes to the bottom of my Coen films list.

I thought is was dark and realistic.. in a kinda bizarre way. If you want a happy ending go watch Shrek...

I didn't want happy che, I wanted closure.

At least one more character should have died. It really could have been either one.

I don't disagree. There was kind of a loose end.

I gotta say if all movies were of this quality the industry would be booming. This is one of the few movies thats actually worth the ~$8-$10 admission. Although I would agree that the ending is an Act IV fadeout without proper closure. Its not entirely inappropriate, but you have to think about it a little too much to get it. All the characters were wrapped up, but because I don't want to spoil anything I'll just say watch it again and pay really close attention, or just look at the discussions people are having about it (teh p0werz of 7h3 int3r-tubez!!!!!11111).

I still hang out with compugeek and exude enough collective sarcasm to torment all the happy people in public places, scare children.

A guy at work told me I was "dark" and hummed the darth vadar imperial march theme, then said as I walk by the lights in the hallway dim as I go.

I'm with CheapPrick on this. The movie was pretty good - great even - throughout except for the end. It really just leaves you hanging and wondering what the hell happened? No closure at all.

Expect a sequel.

Don't expect a sequel. The movie is based on the Cormac McCarthy book, and is thus singular.
