A little help on CONNECTING please!!!

Hy there! Can you duds help an old music sharer please?
I CAN"T CONNECT TO WinMX I tryed primary connection with maping of the ports then secondary ... nothing ILEFT IT 30 mins ( half hour) and nothing.
Of course i'm doing something wrong but what?
By the way DOES VERSION 2.6 STILL WORK ??????
For me it didn't for the past 3 days

no clue i've switched to 3.1 for a week or two now and it's worked fine for me. i lost all my open nap servers though anyone know some good open nap servers with friendly people?
