so is anyone playing it? i just got a new graphics card (8800GT, boo-ya) in November, so im enjoying the graphics along with a great game. Absolutely the best in mindless shoot-them-up FPS games.

I have it, but can't install it until I get a new computer. :( waaaaah. I only have AGP support on my mobo and my current card is a nvidia geforce4 ti4600, which is below the minimum standards. fudge.

My card was below minimum specs, but game still played fine with reduced graphics. Yea, you dont get the cool graphics, but game play and frame rates were fine here.

I just purchased a BFG 8800 gt OC, sadly a new term started with no time to play games. Ive played a couple of demo's which look amazing UT3 included. But other then the graphical improvements and added vehicles the game is essentially the same as its always been. I don't have much reason to play it, might get Bioshock tho that game seems like a gem.

yes, get bioshock. i just finished that one. both endings. i have to say, its probably the best FPS i have played in years, if not, ever. the last time i remember feeling so awesome playing a FPS was half-life 1. even so, the writing wasnt even half as good in that game as bioshock's.

and ill add you andrew to my friends. im signa8.

Crysis is also a great game. Make sure you atleast have a 8800 GTS and a Core 2 Duo to run it. Even on my rig with a C2D and an 8800 GTX it stutters once in a while. Call of Duty 4 is worth mentioning too.

I played the demo and it was interesting, might get the full thing sometime in the future.

that card is WAY too low to even bother trying... you can get a better AGP card that'll work... but I'd just get a new computer asap.

That card's finished in terms of new 3D games.

there was a ps2 version... wow

UT3 will be about a million times better. don't bother with the offline play though. it's about as lame as it gets.

assuming that what you say is 100% true, then the fun im having with the campaign is nothing to the mind-blowing orgasmic fun i must be missing online. seriously though, with the exception of the last level i just did (last level of the 1st act) my teammates have been fairly competent, and so has the PC in terms of opposition.

but, it's just online play with bots... it's a good tutorial session but beyond that, you can't talk smack to a bot.... that's what matters in the long run.

I would preferably like to scream into the mic about what a shithead my opponent is for beating me and then proceed to spam the text chat with the letter "a"
