Is anyone having difficulty connecting to blackcats-games? It looks like the tracker is down and I am unable to view their site. I hope it's nothing serious.

im not too worried, game downloads have never been a huge threat to anyone being sued or anything.

On the afterdawn forums someone is claiming to be the hacker behind an attack on blackcats.

"I don't care whether you believe me or not, it doesn't matter. Besides it probably won't come back up right away after I stop.

Ask the blackcats admins what's happening to their server. It started with a simple http flood, and then moved on to a tcp flood on ports 21, 23, 80, 666, 2228, and 6667. They're lucky I didn't decide to completely flood their connection with UDP packets :)

If these guys were even halfway competent they could have setup some firewall rules to block this shit by now. This is one of the easier forms of DDoS to block. " - Bcatssux

If Blackcats is being hacked, it's probably got more to do with all the drama of the past month. I would believe that more than just "Oh boo hoo... I got banned, so I'll show them!" But who knows.

Blackcats-games are back up again.
And with no downtime message so I suppose it's something that happens from time to time and we shouldn't be worried.:hi

this happens regulary, where blackcats goes down for a while. but it always comes back up
