If Zeropaid could some how update their news section more than once a day, in my opinion, would generate more traffic. Just like on cnet, people check back all the time for updates.

I agree. If there's one shortcoming of the site it's that. and the lack of an obvious search function....

You just click "search news" on top of the news section to search for news articles from the past.

I'm sorry...I'll try and get news out faster...There is just a limited amount of homepage space. And we don't just post all new news on the homepage. If you have something particular in mind you should search for it.

matt you are doing a fine job. The potential is right here in the new forums. Lets heat this baby up and get ready for the masses to come on down. Post your band list on my thread. you guys are leaving me hanging with only my post.

I agree with the idea of posting more than once a day. Maybe letting the threads not getting any feedback drop & replacing them with something fresh if space is a problem.

So then do you archive like every article, even some that don't make it on the news and front page?

naaa, I only archive what I need for referance and all of my stories too. Usually I keepa referance of what the articale is and save a link to it or somthing(if I dont want to waste space). I dont have the time to engulff myself in the website even thought I wish I could.:wings

Why not create a Breaking News Forum,
and let people post any breaking news they discover?
Granted, this could get non-breaking news threads,
but it would be a place for folks to look for serious news items.
