I have been on demonoid for quite a long time. Loved it. I have almost stopped downloading since it went down. Now, i am looking for an alternative.
I would be mostly downloading applications or music or ebooks.
The site must also have a huge selection of old stuff.
I don't care about 0day stuff. Speeds are also not very important, since i don't download movies.
What i need is something similar to demonoid. A tracker with great content and good seeds.
Also, please suggest trackers that are easier to get into.
All that i have now is a supertorrents account. Is it good?

Do some searches and see what comes up with the most results. On the sites with results take some time to browse the catagories.

Do some of your own resarch.

Use the SEARCH function and browse our forums etc.

For trackers that are relatively easy to get into, Supertorrents isn't bad. It's a very very far cry from the selection you would find at Demonoid, though. There are no private trackers with anything close to Demonoid's numbers. And, as far as 0-day trackers go, ST has a reasonably okay amount of apps.

Halfway decent trackers tend to fill up, so finding something good AND easy to get into is close to impossible.

I would get to know people, make friends and see if you can get into What and/or Waffles. For mainstream apps, music and ebooks, those two are probably as close as you're going to get to Demonoid on the private side. And they're quickly growing, which is good. They seem to enable invites somewhat erratically, so you won't get in overnight, but since they both aspire to Oinkness, many membership slots are destined to open. If you prove yourself worthy, you should have no problem.

And, of course, on the public side, there's isohunt and The Pirate Bay.

Thanks, enter8. TPB has i good collection, but their content is not trustworthy. Many fakes viruses. I think i will seed on ST till i can get into what.cd..
Any other similar sites?
