No user online?

I have used Kazaa before & remember being connected with no users online but i managed to change something like Gnutella Network or something then there were millions.
The problem is i can't work out how to use the Dat, Sig, Nat etc... although i am connected there are no users to share with or search???
?frustrated?

By the way i am only on dial up at the moment, i have the windows firewall on and Avast anitvirus was on so i tried searching with it off. Nothing at all. Have turned it back on now my only hope is to wait for an answer.

Meanwhile i will keep searching & playing around with the new KL.

Are you kidding us? Uninstall that shite form your system, and get a feel for whats going on these days before you jump back in to P2P.

The fact that you even tried to use kazaa is near justification for re formatting your system.

Get you pc cleaned up, get a better firewall, and a blocklist manager like PG2, and make sure your OS has all the updates.

My comp is an oldie made up of bits an pieces nobody wanted cause i aint had a job for 8yrs (due to chronic kidney failure) anyhow... its an:

AMD Athlon 2500+
1.83Ghz 512 DDR
Raedon 9300Se
80Gb WD + 2x20Gb ST Hard Drives
Lite-On DVDRW LH-20A1P RAM Drive
Lite-On DVDRW SOHW
Windows XP Pro - 2006 Black Version

and alot of FREE software.

Because its all no good to anybody else but me i aint got anything to worry about. It has crashed at least 30 times but due to experience i now know every piece of equipment and just boot up another drive while "fixing, cleaning, repairing" and/or reinstalling. Ive only lost valuable data twice mainly through impatience. It amazes me how much people worry bout viruses an stuff, i mean you're welcome to anything on my comp and if you think you or anyone else can fry it - I think Not. I also know what to avoid, where not to go and when 'something' is not right. Most viruses are caught by Firewall, Avast, Spybot bad ones just teach me new tricks :icon_thum
