MONTREAL (AFP) - After catching his 15-year-old smoking pot, a father sold the hard-to-get "Guitar Hero III" video game he bought his son for 90 dollars for Christmas at an online auction, fetching 9,000 dollars.

The sale took place after the father spent two weeks searching for the video game for the Nintendo Wii gameboard.

"So I was so relieved in that I had finally got the Holy Grail of Christmas presents pretty much just in the nick of time. I couldn't wait to spread the jubilance to my son," the father wrote on the eBay website.

"Then, yesterday, I came home from work early and what do I find? My innocent little boy smoking pot in the back yard with two of his delinquent friends."

He should have just tasered the little stoner, that would teach him. Sort of like those collars people get their dog that shocks it when it barks. Dad should taser him every time he even thinks he smells like pot.

He didnt have to be a Grinch and spoil X-Mas. I bet that kid cried.

I know about those collars, Fido Shocker brand.. :) Someone dared me to touch the output terminal of the thing, but I didn't do it.

They must have had the money to buy the game, and I hope that they get $9000 worth of play out of it. Some folks are just driven by their passion and they just have to have something.

I've had it happen with a rare download, something I've been looking for, and I'm all extreme to have the chance to get it, and I'm on the edge of my seat until it finishes.

The kid's smoking pot and all Dad does is take away his new video game? Is that supposed to be discipline?

Sure it is. The kid was already on his way to being a rock star. He had the addiction down, he just needed more practice in front of the TV to achieve stardom.

The dad ruined his hopes and dreams.
