Question about public trackers and stats

I have a question about torrent download stats on sites. I used demonoid mostly and I thought their target file and torrent file download stats were pretty accurate, pls correct me if i'm wrong. Do any other public trackers have decent stat tracking? I dont really need the torrent file downloads, just the target file. Thanks

all private trackers keep excellent stats on this, it is a way of maintaining a ratio which is needed to keep membership on the site.

Thanks but i'm already a member at a number of private sites. The only reason I use public trackers is when I want to distribute music I put together, and I like to know how many times it was downloaded.

I used to use demonoids tracker and put it on their site and I would use their tracker to put it up on tpb and Mininova. On the Demonoid site it seemed to be keeping track of how many times the target file was downloaded over all sites where I used Demonoids tracker. If that makes sense...
