TL sucks! Good to seed. Not that great content!

I've been a member at TL for a while, and it seems like they have just a few things in each category, nothing i'd get super psyched about. There's not really a big focus on one thing as far as I can tell. TL is good for popular stuff though, and I do get some choice files from there now and again.
For movies I really like Cinematik.

Then again I got FTN. :P Seriously though. FTN is nice, but a little hard to seed without a seedbox. Nice to know that they have the 1:1 ratio or 36hrs! They have no dl ratio kept, only ul!

hey GuyFawks,
Is FTN really geared more twords nordic users? I read that somewhere, and I'm hoping its not totally true. Just wondering if it would really fit my needs or not, most foreign based trackers don't appeal to me.

Is the paranoia here to? Fuck you all go Isohunt.com
drtoker
November 16th, 2007, 09:23 AM
yea, go isohunt, for slow speeds, fake files, and lawsuits galore!
Just what I want in a tracker. Why did I ever leave...

What are you suggesting?
Isohunt used to link to trackers like demonoid and mininova and others....

I'm suggesting that public trackers are a mess, and out of control. No way to enforce rules or quality control. And yes, demonoid was public, just like any site that you could dl from without registering.

The first rule about fight club is you do not talk about fight club. The second rule of fight club is you DO NOT talk about fight club. That sums up most of the trackers I am on, because if I mention them I get banned. However, I can share a few.
Music: Funkytorrents, libble(got an invite today actually), vipmusic, waffles, what
Scene: Revolution, CZONE, and about every other one known to man.
Movies: HDBITS, x264, Goem, and alot of smaller ones

Oh I did not even read the posts preceding mine, I was just making a joke about some of the higher level trackers I am aprt of . To be honest, about every site has the same basic releases for scene appz, I would just use newsgroups, huge selection, and it has good pre-times. For torrents though, if you want some good private trackers with open signups i like bitsoup, midnight torrents, and leecherslair, although the latter may be closed. For more seclusive sites, my favorite is SCC. The problem is for appz, about all the sites offer the same files.

can some tell me the best one for Windows applications ... BEST ONE.
I'm also interested to know this. Well, I'm not fussy about whether it's "the best" or not, as long as it has more than what the typical scene-focused trackers offer. I find that most trackers don't have many apps. Demonoid had a fair few but I am not aware of any good alternatives.
I guess that most people like to have their movies, music and videogames, and don't care much about more useful stuff.

Are you guys looking at the 0 day packs out there on the torrent sites? I always see an ass load of apps every few days in these packs, seems like every new app is in there. Are you looking for older apps? Are you just searching by name, 'cause apps in these packs are not searchable AFAIK, so check on those, may find what your looking for.

No I don't but I'll PM it to you.
the BEST tracker for music depends what you're looking for. If you're into lossless I'd say E****. For general, I'd say waffles over what.cd. And for windows apps I have no idea since I'm a mac user.

I personally think RevoTT is the best for general things.
Supertorrents.org is good for various apps and stuff.
Waffles.fm for music.
Haven't really tried anything else?

I never understood why people need 10 private trackers. I use 3 stmusic, TL and filelist. Torrentleech is great for new games, movies and even tv shows. How can you possibly keep a ratio up with 10 private trackers?

i definitely agree with you andrew, i dont get it people...all those trackers have the SAME exact releases, and nothing is really any different.
people might say there are faster download speeds on different trackers but i mean honestly, most have so many seeders that it goes fast as you need it realistically.
torrentleech for the win because it gets the scene fast and has fast enough download speeds for me.

My vote is RevTT... I have been on TL before but got rid of it because everything I like to download on there was also on RevTT. TL did have different things than RevTT but nothing that interested me much. Therefore I left TL and only use RevTT right now. However I am looking to expand and get into at least one other high level site.
