is it possible to prove that i had a good ratio on a site that's now closed, with the idea that this information may help other people see that i'm a good user? Maybe some information stored in my torrent client, or something? or would i have to depend on showing my good ratios from not-as-cool other sites that are still in existence?
thanks dudes

It's generally a good idea to make screenshots of your most used sites so often. If you are asking invites to private sites and the inviter doesn't know you in person, they generally will request some sort of proof that you're a good user elsewhere. I don't think it matters what sites you use as proof unless you're going for top-tier in which case you better have a really good rep on several sites! good luck

The new oink 'replacements' are allowing for whatever information validates that you were a user of oink - waffles.fm uses
1. A screen shot of your Oink Profile, Header, Snatch List etc.
2. Screen shots and/or forwards of any emails received from Oink, including but not limited to: your invite email, a receipt of your paypal donation (please remove ransaction IDs and/or bank account numbers), or oink torrents left on your machine with full urls

Yea but a screen shot from 2 months ago (just for example) is not very reliable :P
Anyway, you can prove you were a part of a site by taking a screen shoot of a mail from this site

man, i don't know if i'm willing to take screenshots often enough for them to count. do other people do this, take screenshots weekly or something? it's kind of creepy, thinking you have to do that in case the tracker shuts down! alas...
oh, also, i loaded my torrents into my client and took a screenshot there with trackers showing. so yeah, i solved the query in my last post.

EDIT: My original post was apparently against forum rules that I JUST found out about. My rep took a nasty hit but for anyone mad at my original post please see my response in the following thread...
