A Screenplay For Free For Any Movie House.
A man bought a map from a shop. He would have to read maps or get nagged by his father, so he bought one about Dartmoor. He used the map to find his way quite happily for hours and hours exploring the dank misty moors.
What he should have checked was the criminal record and mental well-being of the shop-keeper. He was in fact a homicidal maniac and he sent the poor traveller to a pub. In fact the pub was a human slave trading outpost, and he was sold, ironically, to a band of travelling gypsies.
The shopkeeper you see was heartily pissed off at being called a murderer, or a thief, etc, so he sold some skin to the clan. That will teach the sucker.
