It lookes like not only in the usa but also in europe organisations like the RIAA are thinking that they are above the law: while the americans are being threatend by the bermanns P2P bills wich gives private company's authority's wich should be only left to the judges instead of private compeny's, in europe the orginasations dont even bother to use corrupt politics to get what they want, they just take it.

Something's rotten in Denmark. Fans of eDonkey2000 and KaZaA, or at least 150 of them, found a notice from The Danish Anti-Piracy Group (APG) demanding compensations for copyrighted works. This move symbolizes the opening of new front by intellectual property holders in the war against P2P networking.
This latest move by copyright holders has come under intense criticism. With the music and movie industry admittedly infusing many networks with false files, how can one say for certain that the files on the suspect's machines are indeed copyrighted?
" The tactic is drawing protests from some technical and legal experts who insist that without the individuals' computers it's impossible to prove the existence of copyright violations. Others question the size of the bills. "
"In this case, we're talking about compensation for the damage the Anti Piracy Group claims its members have suffered. It's the courts that decide the amount of compensation to be paid due to copyright infringement, not the victim," said Martin von Haller Groenbaek, a Danish attorney specializing in IT law.
With enough pressure, Slyck.com is confident that this latest move will not be substantiated. Look for some type of intervention from the Danish government.
