soulseek is the best for the single tunes... and what is the best for the albums?
p.s.: pls do not mention any BT tracker... I'm interested only in the p2p softwares in this case.

soulseek is fine for full albums.
DC++ is also good.

yeah... especially when soulseek does not support multi-source downloading and only single source (one to one) downloading is possible in the soulseek. when you add the album to download and the user of that album disconnects from the system - you never know how long you will wait till he connects to the system again. its VERY risky to add album to download in the soulseek: sometimes you will have to wait for weeks, months till you complete to download album.
I believe there are a lot of clients that support multi-source downloading. and these clients are better for downloading albums.

i'm telling you from my personal experience that soulseek is fine for full albums. i've used it for years and managed to get full albums, although i am done with soulseek now since i got into oink and other torrent sites i have no need for it anymore. yes there were definitely issues with people leaving and i am left with incomplete songs.. maybe it's worse now i don't know.
also have you tried Emule?

Soulseek is great, but like in any commute, learn to respect your neighbour!!
