Does anyone happen to know what Thor's Hit and Run policy is?

Do they have any policy that's different from the norm?

Can you get in trouble for having too high of a ratio?

Does anyone have a link for the rules page?


I've read through the FAQ a few times and the babelfish translation doesn't do it justice.

enter8 i would presume they wouldnt punish you for uploading i would say like all torrent sites hit and run is a no no sure if everyone did that there would be no downloading . many torrent sites function the same

Sadam34, I'm looking for the specific hit and run policy. I know hit and run is a no no. No shit. Hit and run policies can vary pretty dramatically from tracker to tracker. Final required ratio can range from .4 to 1 and the seeding time from 45 minutes to 72 hours. Policies also can vary for different levels of users. I'm trying to find out where Thor's falls into this spectrum.

I've never come across a tracker that did this, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least one tracker out there that banned people with extremely high ratios because of the possibility of cheating. It wouldn't be just, but it could happen if the staff were paranoid enough.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question. But do you mean "Tor"? because I've never heard of "Thor" and even Google seems stumped.
