Actually they have given invites to any member as long as they have been a member at least 4 weeks.

Invites have now been enabled for members of all ranks. They have been distributed as follows -

User - 1 Invite (If a member for a minimum of 4 weeks)

Power User - 2 Invites

VIP - 4 Invites

Elite VIP - 5 Invites

RevoTT gave a few invites a few days ago, but they don´t do that in a regular way. I mean: they don´t give invites weekly, monthly, upon promotion, etc.
They use to give them only 1-2 times/year.

It´s a very good tracker and I can´t understand why is so underrated.

If a torrent is nuked at this site, do I need to keep seeding it?
It was "December Boys." I have been seeding it since December 2nd
...for fear (due to all the people that had their accounts banned for "NO reason!" <*groan*>) of losing the account.

You should be find stopping that seed. Most nukes wont count against you for hit and run, however, it will still affect your global ratio, so keep that in mind.

If a torrent I downloaded is nuked I usually go ahead and stop it. If the site nuked it then they are saying it is not up to par with the quality they expect on their site. I can't imagine any decent site giving you a warning for stopping a torrent THEY nuked.

Does anyone know the email for revtt's 'tech support' (dont know what else to call it). I forgot my password, but when I try to reset it I dont get the email. I'm guessing it's because I registered with an AOL email so they're filtering it somehow. I was gonna email revtt to see if I could somehow get my password back directly through them. I'd hate to lose all 100 gigs I uploaded!

Their irc channel is working fine. The deal is you need to use your invite code to get invited to the channel. I strongly doubt they can get your password for you. I will look around and see what I can find out.

thanks man, really appreciate your help. I can't even connect to the IRC server for some reason, i get the error saying Unable to connect to server (software caused connection abortion), both on my IRC client and on the java based version through the web browser.

I actually meant to post back. I went into their forum and asked. Contrary to what most of this thread says about the staff there, they were extremely helpful and treated me with the utmost respect.

They have an unwritten 72 hour rule and I was able to stop seeding it.

I found the exact same thing occurred in my dealings with bmtv staff.

I think the complainers might have been idiots that got on the staff member's nerves. If you're respectful and courteous, you tend to get it back. I keep expecting to run across power tripping tracker staff, but so far, it's not been the case.

I think, also, that irc help channels tend to breed a more 'helpful' atmosphere in general. It's a very different tone (much more immediate/more intimate) than PMs or emails.
