If you want to play videos on the Wii, they use a special codec MJPEG. This is for people who have an unmodded Wii and want to play videos. Wii Video 9 is a simple GUI program which allows people to convert just about any type of video to a Wii-compatible format. Simply go to the Picture Viewer in the Wii menu to actually see the video.
