How do I start downloading songs?

Whoo-boy, talk about starting at square one!
Well, first you need to download & install a file-sharing program. . . you can pick one by checking out the listings here on ZP (click on the homepage link for your particular OS). KaZaA Lite is the most popular right now.
After installing, you should easily be able to connect, search, and download stuff. Read the program's FAQ for in-depth information, and check out the forums here for advice and tips.
Post again if you need more general help (but not concerning a specific program). . . good luck!

:mellow Good one Krell, and thanks for saying it doesnt work that way. We arnt mean, we just want you to share.BGS we both posted at the same time, so I might want to add, if you want to use a specfic file SHARING program look through the threads to see if the one you want to use is mentioned. Then see what is recommended. PS welcome to the site.

Than again I might back off, as there is more knowledge here than I can add to. Not a joke, but I just feel that I am sticking my nose in, and that is not how it is meant.Note that is my head going in the toilet. It has been there before.

if you want to begin right away download a few p2p apps and then we can walk you through. this thread will help other newbies who will be coming in this Xmas! ;-)
click on filesharing near top of this window and download a few p2p programs.
