On Demonoid if a file says external what does that mean?

files hosted on other trackers can be uploaded onto demonoid. i think it being external will link you to the file hosted on the other tracker.

yup... demonoid acts like a search engine is such cases...

and i think external files dont get counted in your ratio, right??

Yea, as was mentioned above, it's simply a torrent that is hosted on another tracker. Uploads/downloads on external torrents do not count towards your ration (when the ration counter works at all).

some external trackers also require you to sign up, if you are having connection problems this may be the reason.
