I wont be surprised if utorrent surpasses 1mb by end of 2008...

Wouldn't it need to become milliTorrent first? :icon_scra

No, because I have arbitrarily decided that 512k was the milli mark and 1mb be centi. At 3-5mb, utorrent will approach the range of a normal BT client and will simply be known as the Client-Formerly-Known-as-uTorrent.

lol...

anyway, what's the big difference with an increment of 0.0.1? and yea! did anyone notice that they released 1.7.3 also on the same day? I'm not sure... but i got auto-updated from 1.7.2 to 1.7.3 in the mornin and then to 1.7.4 in the evenin... weird!

Yeah, one private tracker only allows 1.6.1 - anything >1.7 is banned and now theres talk of banning utorrent altogether! I can't make sense of this...

well i mean that demonoid doesn't ban any thing so If utorrent gets banned again i am leaving the private trackers...
but now i have given up on utorrent and just use 1.6.1 for now...

Just use the newest versions. I haven't heard any problems about them at all.
