Shouldn't it be a sub-forum in this one?

iMesh rocks .... it's one of the few that is still surviving the post-napster era... this was out when or just after ScourExchange, and still is alive ...

Now ... Yes it should be here since it's a fasttrack client
They deleted some program forum that wheren't popular, and iMesh was one of them, if you like it back or have a thought to say, go to the FeedBack forum....
But if you got a Question, post HERE in the main thread (http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=13)

There has been very little threads about iMesh. I don't think there would be enough threads to justify having it having its own forum.

News to me. I didn't think there ever was an iMesh forum here.

Yep, post any iMesh stuff to FastTrack Technology / KaZaA.

It was in the other forum version, before they went to vBulletin v2.2.2
They took a couple away, the ones that didn't go anywhere, like Hotline, iMesh, etc ...

What justification is there for the Napigator, Napshare, and Swapnut forums in General P2P?
Those forums have had no posts at all since the site revamp, and yet they are still around.
Yep, post any iMesh stuff to FastTrack Technology / KaZaA.
That would be a good start, but the layout there is somewhat
confusing. When I first started to use it I thought that the
view in FastTrack Technology / KaZaA was just showing the
most recent posts from the three forums available, and not
a forum in its own right.
Also:
Justifications for a separate IMesh forum.
(comments that could lead to individual threads about the app in its own group)
Imesh works with Fasttrack, but does not seem to be limited to the same functionality of
other clients... Search results and download performance seem significantly different
between IMesh and Kazaa lite, from my POV.
Because it appears to be a using a different design than Kazaa/Morpheus used, there
is a possibility that different tweaks and techniques might be discovered to help it
work better.
The Imesh interface has support for alternate skins... they don't have much information
on building new skins, but the skin layout appears fairly simple, so others could easily
make custom skins for thier own use.
www.imesh.com has its own forums, but some discussions might be better handled in
a more generally focused site like zeropaid; when it comes to comparison with other
P2P programs, and discussion of current and future features of those apps.
:sw IMesh is worth (dis)honorable mention as one of the programs Dr. Damn has come out
with a spyware/adware free version of. (http://www.cleanclients.tk/)
IMesh seems to handle meta-data better. In Kazaa, additional file description information
(meta-data) shows up as a tool-tip under the mouse pointer when you click on a link
in search results or the download window. On Imesh that information is brought up in
a separate window, making it easier to track for relevant keywords, or easier to filter
if the description is filled with gibberish.

None really. They were created when the forums were created. It was a guess on what people wnated to talk about.
iMesh does use different software. It is certainly one of the more popular p2p programs.
You can ask Jorge for the forum here if you want. I don't see any point of it been here unless it will be reasonable active.

A separate Imesh forum would be a great help. Imesh is not fasttrack, the clients have nothing in common, and the fasttrack and imesh networks interconnect only marginally. I learned this when searching for a rare file. I had to search using both fasttrack and imesh clients, and then transferred the fasttrack downloads into the imesh folder, so I could have the largest possible number of downloads. Also, it seems that imesh searches the fasttrack network much better than fasttrack searches the imesh network.
As proof, look at the network size as listed on www.slyck.com. You will see that Imesh is about a third the size of fasttrack. Yet if you do any searches on Kazaa, you will notice that very few search results show "@fileshare" as users. Certainly a lot less than one third.
Zeropaid has a forum for Gnutella. Additionally, it has separate forums for each of 7 different Gnutella clients. Yet Imesh has twice as many users as all Gnutella clients combined.
As far as the "official" Imesh forum on Imesh.com, they, not surprisingly, deleted all my posts about how to remove spyware.
It makes little sense that the 2nd biggest (not counting Winmx and Audiogalaxy) p2p application would be denied its own forum on Zeropaid.
