tndl.com was registered by a company in the United States. Don't take heed of what I said as you need to find out where the datacentre is actually hosted.

Just tells you all the information about the domain. Registered IP, the relevant details (phone number, address of business...)

Well generally you don't want your dedicated pirating server located in a territory such as the US that has strict(ish) enforcement of copyright laws.

would they bother tracking me down all the way to AUS???

If by AUS you mean Austrailia... then Austrailia still has strict copyright laws, as do most major "first-world" countries (US, Canada, UK, Austrailia, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, most of Western Europe (EU) etc.
But, would they "track you down" I truly doubt it. The risk is more in the server being taken down and you losing all the money you invest/pay per month and any data etc. A server stationed in, say, Taiwan would have much less of a problem staying online.

@glavo11
Mate,
If you're in Aus. you dont need torrentflux. Just sign-up with TPG with the adsl2 plan:
"Plan speed Up to 24576 / 1024 kbps
Super 40 GB peak 110 GB offpeak Shaped Static $69.99 /mo"
Upload is free, you dont need torrentflux. :icon_thum

Nu-uh :icon_pira Canada doesn't have strict laws. Only untill recently bringing camcorders into theaters was illegal.
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2005/09/05/CRIA_reax20050905.html
The Canadian Recording Industry Association said Canada has become a music piracy haven.
The CRIA -- representing companies that produce more than 95 per cent of all recorded music sold in Canada -- wants the federal government to toughen internet piracy laws.
Canada deems P2P downloading legal

Edit: Also the costs of your provider is questionable. A good 100mb (unmetered) server will cost you at least $90 if you want about 2.5-3TB of bandwidth (more than enough per month) and $150 if you want unlimited. I say its worth it, because look at how much you save in the longrun, you get more, share more and you WILL not have to shell out for entertainment needs anymore.

lol demonoid is based here in my country canada and no1 cares, If ur gonna set upservers in second or third word countries then first off the speeds will be shity and if they get you by any chance then they will treat u like shit, and probably violating human rights violation. In canada if u get caught u will possibly get 60 days house arrest maximum(if u don't have a lawyer), and if u under 19 all ur charges(dosent matter if u murder some1 or ur caught piracy) will be dorped. All in all, CANADA is true place for pirates. both leechers and seeders.

Unlimited bandwith and 100/100 fiber is what we use and we never had any problems.
