I suggest vectoral. For $90 you get
* AMD Athlon™ 2000+
* 1GB DDR-RAM
* 1x80GB + 1x40GB HDD
* 3TB bandwidth
Its a really good deal. Or if you can afford it. $200 a month gets you.
* Intel® Core 2 Duo™ E6600
* 2048MB DDR2-RAM (533MHZ)
* 2 x 250GB 7.2K RPM SATA2-HDD
* 5000GB Bandwidth
And Vectoral is the best. And ive looked at many others. Tell me if this is not so.

most boxes are 100/100 3TB is really nothing for that speed you can share your box with others i think you get 5 ips. www.softlayer.com is the best i think for their gig boxes https://www.vectoral.info/ is ok for the speed but its kindof slow for FTPing from box to home

I was told the vectoral is the best deal and that it will max out your connection. SoftLayer is so much more expensive.

try this lot they are cheap and there is no bandwidth limit
http://www.serverloader.com
i use there 2nd package, dedicated server with windows server, and utorrent and connect through windows remote desktop protocal.
then you can share your files with your home computer with any ftp program.:icon_thum
sorry ment to say it costs $160
and is on a 100mbit connection obviously there is faster or you could op out for a smaller package with capped bandwidth.
i used mine last month and pushed out over one and a half terebytes.

What speeds did you get? PM me if you are afraid to post them. BTW if you pushed out 1 1/2 terabytes, buying the $90 package looks more viable, especially if the speeds are better. Vectoral is on a 100mbit connection as well, unmetered and all the rest. I've been told that it gives the fastest speeds and was shown the comparisons. BTW how did you afford the cost of $160 dollars a month? $90 a month looks more viable and cheaper for me.

the speeds were around15-30Mbit/s transfer speeds and 5TB-9TB is what expect but due to not being able to have enough time to push it to the limits, i only pushed about 1 1/2 terabytes maybe vectoral where good in the fixed packages because you no how much you will get but £ 80 odd pound a month i don't think is to bad. plus there is no additional costs for the setup or which operating system you choose.

if u are all willing to lay down some cash then look up usenet
it will max ure connection ALL THE TIME
and will cost u 15 $ a month ish
its simple as hell and there is no uploading so less chance of the feds coming to say hi
ure basically paying to use the network and it is worth it
my net connection is around 6 meg and i get 750kbps constant that is over 2 gig an hour or 48 gigs a day
i now have 1.1 terrabytes of hard disk space just coz of usenet
my 2 cents.

i understand where you are coming from with usenet but it does not place your stamp in the torrent scene, and does not give you a reputation to work on, those places are better for people who only want to leech.
If you want to get your stats you really need a seed box.

Thanks for that, but the prices are rather ridiculous. Personally I think that I will probably end up going with the $160 package, as I have a job and well I spend about $50-$100 a week on crap. So if I cut down on the food spending Ill have more than enough to pay for this.

It depends where you want the server. I would recommend SL (US) or LW (EU).
