Has anyone seen The Bourne Ultimatum?

I was going to see this movie over the weekend with my girlfriend.
Anyone think this is a good/bad idea?

I don't trust critic's reviews, so I don't read them...

From the people I know who have seen it, the response is generally favorable. Good action sequences seems to be the consensus. Does your girlfriend like action?

Yeah, for the most part she likes action. She really liked Live Free Or Die Hard.

We probably won't be seeing it tonight (Superbad comes out today), but we'll see.

Extremely fast-paced. My husband loved it!
I will watch it alone with subs on and sound off.
Like watching/listening to Satch on speed.
(the same music playing throughout the movie made a headache I already had, worse).

I loved it, saw it in the theater. Definately awesome action, good fight scenes, epic ending.

I also saw Superbad, that movie fucking owned. I laughed so hard at some parts my eyes teared up.

I really didn't like it. I was a big fan of the Bourne Identity. But when Paul Greenglass took over it didn't take a turn for the best. BI was very different from the book itself, but at least it was written as a drama with action that was there for the development of the characters.

Bourne Supremacy was the opposite. A story that had nothing to do with the book, and loads of shake-cam action that was just there for the thrill. Didn't really add much to the movie. It also recycled alot of scenes and scenario's from Bourne Identity.

Bourne Ultimatum was mostly the same. A story that had nothing to do with the book anymore, many many recycled things from the previous films (they even used the same music on occasion, not fitting the new scenes), and the action was just there to amuse.

Nice for an evening with some popcorn, but horrible compared to the first movie and if you know the books :)

I liked it. I know it didn't go along with the books, but it was decent. Fight scenes were good, but I didn't like all the camera movement though I think it was for added effect. The camera moved so much it made it hard to see what was going on sometimes. Overall I'd rate it about a 7 out of 10. :icon_pira

that fucker honestly has no place in action films if he can't A) have the skill to do his own stunts B) find someone who can who looks like him

the editing work on that pile of crap was so choppy 'n bad I lost interest in the first 30 minutes

stiles couldn't keep it going with her doe looking face... and I loved her '10 things I hate about you'

just bad all around... lots of loopholes (no new car esp. a cop car would have no airbags so all the shit he does in the badly cut together chases is complete bullshit)
