OSLO, Norway - Norwegian researchers are calling for bold, non-hairy humans to bare their arms and be stung by jellyfish — in the name of science.

Testing a new sun screen, aimed at protecting against jellyfish stings, the University of Oslo said it wants volunteers to be burned by jellyfish tentacles on both arms — one with ordinary sun block, the other with anti-jellyfish sun lotion.

"You're supposed to get burned. If you're not, then the tests have been a waste of time," Torgrim Andersen, spokesman for the university's biology department, said Wednesday.

Getting stung sucks. I got wrapped up in a Portugese Man-of-War last summer in Hawaii. Ouch.

Did you pee on it?

No, I had my wife pee on me.

Seriously.

We then found out it wasn't the right treatment.

It's been my only golden shower (so far).

I saw this post the other day and thought to myself the eloquent phrase, "Screw that."
So I didn't post.
Then Lord_of_the_Dense mentioned urine. I thought it was only good for athlete's foot...*shrugs*
I have never been stung, but my daughter was once, down in Galveston, when she was there with her dad. She said that she took the rocks from the water and placed them on the sting. The salt took the sting away.

I heard urine was good for acne. Although, R. Kelly won't return my phone calls to confirm this.
