Kazaa Lite Update reminder

Hello

Can somebody tell me how 2 kill this constant update reminder for ever (which show up everytime i open kazaalite 2.0). It is really not logic to run after every minor upgrade released! coz i neither have the time and the bandwidth to d/l some megabytes again of spyware and adaware and which i am gonna delete 'em from my computer anyway. THANKS

If you aren't using a participation hack then upgrade to kazaalite 2.02. That's the only way to stop the reminder. If you leave Kazaa Lite running all the time then it wouldn't ask to update. It's not so big of a file that downloading it will take forever.

Is their no address we can add to the host files to stop it in it's tracks?

There is a program called clickoff that will automatically say NO!! to that rather annoying reminder. You can download it from here...

There is also a nice thread on the www.k-lite.tk forums that explains how to configure it.

Which I was going to post the link to but the site appears to be down.. oh well. A quick search on the k-lite.tk forums will provide a tutorial with pictures that explains it much better than I could in words.
