Anyone know how to run windows 95/98 games, as in C&C, on XP?

You may need to use DOSBox emulator & front-end utility like D.O.G. to play old games.

WD, have you tried running them first?

I have lots of 95/98 programs that run fine in xp.

If you do run into a problem, you might want to consider doing a dual-boot. Do you have an extra hard drive laying around? That's the easiest. Otherwise, you might be able to partition the drive you have.

With dual boot, you can have the option of running 95 or XP.

Strangle? With a second hard drive, you have two perfectly clean installs.

All the games will work, not some.

No time/no learning curve for tweaking/customization

And, most importantly, you don't run the risk of messing up your XP by changing the wrong setting.
