I've been using BitTorrent for a while now but it I can't get decent download speeds anymore, tried lots of stuff, also tips on this website but I really can't get it over 5kb/s for 2 weeks now.

Today I tested Azerus for the first time in my life and I got much better speeds immediately, got up to 100kb/s in a minute and still increasing.

Now I got about 10gb in part files in BitTorrent and I was hoping there was a way I could import this to Azerus cause I don't like the idea of having to start all over again since some of the files are some 85% of 10gb for example (and at 5kb/s this won't finish anytime soon either, but 8,5gb is annoying to have to start all over with).

What I tried was moving the incompleted download directories from BitTorrent directly to the downloads directory of Azerus but unfortunately it wasn't as simple as that. Now I'm hoping anyone else knows if this is possible, and if so, how?

Thanks!

Add the torrent file to Azureus and point it to the right directory (the one where the data for the torrent you have partially downloaded is located)

It is important that Azureus does not point to another folder automatically when you add the torrent. You can fix this how you see fit in Tools-->Options-->Files where it says default directory.

Also see this in case of trouble.

Yes, just place the file in the azureus target directory (where it DLs files to)

As long as you haven't changed the name of the folder and it's in the right place, when you re-load the torrent file, azureus will check what you have first and start from where you left off. This goes both ways, btw (from azureus to bittorrent).
