Torrent Leech Invitations Sign up Off?

I got an invitation for torrent leech but it seems its closed? IS that true?
When will it be open again? Will I lost my invitation?

I think tl should go up in rank? They disabled invites.. only vips get them.

Once they get so many members.... they close registration. As far as the invites not working....that is a different problem. They probably have some problem with authentication. They should get it worked out soon.

every time you give out an invite, you are potentially risking your own account. think before you act. at least request proof of good ratio from other sites they are a member of. make sure the proof theirs and not someone elses too.

I'm relatively new here, and yet I see other threads giving out free invites (e.g. the Demonoid one), and yet no one is reprimanding that person in the thread. I simply don't understand the inconsistency. If anyone can help elaborate on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

In 4 months moquilok was the 1rst person to bother giving me an invite.
It's not the case since the registrations are closed, but If I get banned or If I dont respect my ratio he only gets a warning. Probably the next users wont get so lucky in an invite

As I said earlier I've been using emule for ages, and dont have any kind of proof relating trackers and respective ratios.

btw enter8 your right in what you say but dont forget thit, TL has a great service but when it concerns to users it not the "real" private tracker.You've got other more restrict(for what i've read)...just think that not everybody has friends in every place..like myself.

Gap, it isn't about asking people for invites month after month until you find someone who's 'nice' enough to give you one. It's about earning your place in the bittorrent community. If you can't get into the tracker of your dreams, join a less exclusive tracker and UL until you have a good ratio. Join another tracker and repeat the process. Merit is invariably rewarded.

You've been given a huge gift/opportunity. I hope you treat it accordingly.

If I'm hearing what I think I'm hearing, namely, that you don't feel that TL is exclusive enough to be worth protecting, you're going to get 'dinged' by a lot more members than me.

All I'm saying is that TL is no more or less exclusive than Demonoid. If people come in and continuously leech on TL (who are not P2L'ers), then they will likely have their accounts disabled/banned. Not that I'm saying it doesn't or can't happen, but I've never heard of an inviter getting disabled/banned for inviting people who can't maintain their ratios from TL.

2006-08-23 - INVITES ARE CLOSED AT THE MOMENT

Invites are disabled for a limited period of time. They will be re-enabled really soon. Please don't send invites, because if you do so your friend(s) will just receive the message "registrations closed, try again later". Anyway the invitation your friend(s) received will stay valid, as long as the invite system is closed. Therefore the invitation will not expire, even if it is quoted so in the e-mail your friend(s) received.
