Initial funding for GAPA has been provided by Sureflix Digital Distribution, Inc., parent company of gay distribution network Maleflixxx.

Ive been expecting something to jump off every since is was reported the smut biz lost a few million in sales last year. I dont know how they could even notice a few million missing from a hundred billion but anyways......
We shall organise a net group to boycott any company that sues any of its customers. Any company, such as Vivid, who joins the GAPA will see just how much money they will lose when the pervs unite.

So if the porn industry hates us, that makes us the good guys, right?
I can't wait until some smut merchant gets up, and starts complaining about how we're impeding their ability to create their art.

At least, so far it's only a one woman organization it would take her sometime to build & find politicians willing to be in her pockets for her cause.
As to getting young adults to stop buying porn they wanted, I doubt they will!

I love this part.
The organization also will actively seek to educate industry members and the public on issues concerning intellectual property theft.
So a couple of porn stars will come into the classroom, and inform the kids on how filesharing is making it harder for them to go out, and find new talent.

what makes this funny is how these people feel they've been screwed
what about the 'actress' getting paid under 5k for acts that on average sell over 20k in dvd sales? isn't she getting double fucked by the fact that production is low sale is high and her fee is still pretty low?

I dont think there will ever be a pro porn politcian but there doesnt have to be either. Distributing DVD's you do not own the copyright to over the internet is of course illegal. Scaring customers away from online porn is the dumbest thing they could ever do though. Porn is mainstream now. Mtv is full of porno starsand even the big porn torrent sites are run by the porn industry.
