Dear friends,

Earlier I used to use the kazaa 1.7.2 & Kazaa lite v1.7.2 without
any problems.

Just a week ago i the kazaa 1.7.2 & Kazaa lite v1.7.2 thru the
add/remove programs and then downloaded the Kazaa v2 and it installs sucessfully. But when i start the program I get the following msg

"You have uninstalled a part of Kazaa Media Desktop that is needed to run. Kazaa Media Desktop will now quit so you can re-install it.
Error: 1030"

It was also mentioned at the KazaaLite website that the above given error is taken care of in the Kazaa v2.0.2. But after installing it I get the same error. Please suggest me some solution and if possible please clarify the meaning or Error Code 1030.

Please help me as how do i resolve the problem and use the Kazaa v2.0.2 After getting the message I reinstalled the entire kazaa v2.0.2 but still the same. Later I downloaded and installed KazaaLite v2.0.2 but still I get the same message.

I tried the Following steps
1. Installing / Uninstalling complete Kazaa Lite v2 Several Times.
2. Using Ad-aware to remove all the crap and re-copy the dummy cd_lint.dll, also tried copying the original CD_Lint.dll
3. Using regedit to clean the registry of kazaa / Brilliant 3D Entries
4. Completely removing all the p2p apps and freshly loading only Kazaa v2

For your information I am using WinXP with SP1

After all the possible combinations and diagnosis I think there is
some problem with the MPR.DLL or NTDLL.DLL file

I tried almost everything that I could think of or found on the web
but Kazaa simply refuses to start.

I have lost all the hopes. But still request people to give in their
suggestions

think your problemo is a matter of spelling , the file you need is cd_clint.dll (with a c) no cd_lint.dll , rename the file and try it again and it should work, are you using an old adaware as the old versions cannot recognise the dummy cd_clint.dll file .
hope it helps:wings
