The infractions were given for a reason. The administrators of this site are our leaders. They know what's best. I can't believe any zp member would dare question someone in a position of power here.

Note to the admin: I respectfully request that everyone that's asked you to retract your infractions be given an infraction of their own. This is mutiny, plain and simple and you cannot, in good conscience, allow it.

I don't think the Mods has to do with this, I think it's automatic by the system to generate point(s) for infractions. Jorge may have to change this, so that Mods can do their job!

At least in American, you can't shut others up just because they disagree with you. Secondly, you are innocent until proven guilty, to keep the system fair! You can't just replace human touch, if you want community to thrive.

I don't think the infraction system is automated. In order for it to be so, it would either have to have some kind of AI that was able to tailor the amount of points issued based upon the severity of the rule breaking or it would have to be entirely blind- which would lead to far too much abuse of the "report post" feature for it ever to be implemented.


So, someone had to issue it. But that is neither here nor there to me. My take is this: the infraction system sucks, it reminds me of all the checkmarks I got next to my name on the chalkboard back in 6th grade. Also, being a moderator on ZP sucks. No way I'd want to try and discipline anyone in this monkey house.

No, I figure that all the moderators can do is hold back the tide, try not to let any more obvious lunatics in and let the rest of us run loose until someone goes too far beyond the bounds of decency.


haddock is one sarcastic Scottish bastard. Anyone entering into conversation with him would do well to remember that, lest they get their feelings hurt. I don't know who reported him but my opinion is this: If you don't have the stones to go head-to-head and give it right back to him, just ignore the man.
